Food & Drink
Café culture is a Parisian way of life, from very simple places to expensive terraces in prime tourist locations. Arguably the most famous cafes in Paris are Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, both in St Germain des Prés and both historical meeting points for writers and intellectuals.
France is famous for its cuisine and Paris offers no shortage of dining options, whether it’s a croque monsieur at a café or a gourmet meal in a Michelin-starred restaurant. The Atelier de Joël Robuchon in St Germain is an excellent choice for high-quality food served in an informal setting, whilst the Terminus Nord opposite the Gare du Nord is a typical Parisian brasserie with a fabulous blend of Art Deco and Art Nouveau décor.
