Planning your visit

  • Overview

Must See
  • The Little Mermaid Copenhagen’s most famous statue.
  • Rosenberg Slot Castle This 17th-century castle was built for King Christian IV. The lower level contains a dazzling array of crown jewels.
  • Vor Frelsers Kirke 400 steps to the top, but the stunning views from the spire are well worth it.
Must Do
  • Spend a day in the Tivoli Gardens Copenhagen's famous amusement garden.
  • Visit the Tycho Brahe Planetarium and get really close to the planets and the stars.
  • Visit The Black Diamond a stunning granite and glass building on the waterfront housing an eminent collection of books, a restaurant, café and concert house.
Food and Drink
Danish cuisine is based on seafood, mainly herrings, with lots of root vegetables. Other favourites include dense black bread with mild cheese, rabbit and lots of beer! For something more formal head for one of the Danish restaurants that offer a fusion of French and Danish cuisine. Look out for some unusual fare – chickweed or nasturtium flowers wouldn’t be out of place on the menu.
Shopping
Bredgade, located in an exclusive part of town, is one of Copenhagen's most fantastic streets and also home to many exclusive designer boutiques. Or try Strøge and the streets leading off it – here you will find quirky, antique and designer shops.

All our hotels are centrally located with easy access to all the main attractions.
