Celebration
This beautiful region is the perfect place to take a loved one on a special and relaxing romantic break in picturesque and peaceful surroundings.
- Bordeaux is home to the three vineyards ranked the top three in the world and produces more than 700 million bottles of wine a year! Offering a wide range of fine wines, mainly reds, but also roses, dry whites, sweet whites and dessert wines - there are so many to choose from!
- The food here is also divine. Memorable meals are to be enjoyed in the Dordogne from foie gras to traditional confit which is goose or duck preserved in its own fat and fried until it’s brown; often served with wild mushrooms. For dessert try sweet chestnuts, strawberries or walnut cake all washed down with a good Bergerac wine.
