  • All of the lakeside resorts are linked by the hydrofoils, catamarans and steamers, so wherever you stay, you are within easy reach of all of these lovely places.
  • Gardone Riviera, frequented by many famous visitors including Winston Churchill, and noted for its exotic plants, parks and the Villa il Vittoriale, home of Italian poet, Gabrielle D’Annunzio.
  • Limone is a small resort made up of cobbled streets and winding alleyways, surrounded by terraces of lemons and majestic scenery, looking across the Monte Baldo. You can spend many pleasant evenings on the outside terraces of the cafes in this attractive resort.
  • Riva del Garda, with its medieval old town and lakeside location is one of the prettiest towns around the lake. Enjoy a refreshing stroll in the fresh air along the promenade, which extends all the way around the town.
  • Malcesine’s charms lie in the winding cobbled streets of this steep lakeside resort, leading to an imposing medieval castle. One of the more popular resorts around the lake, Malcesine is at the foot of Monte Baldo, whose ascent is not to be missed.
  • Bardolino is the town that gave its name to the well-known red wine. Here, you will find an appealing lakeside promenade and beautiful beaches.
Things To Do
  • See Lake Garda - A full day out visiting all three regions of Lake Garda, in part by boat.
  • Valpolicella wine tour - Spend an afternoon in the Adige valley, learning about the some of the best Trentino wines. Wine tasting with a snack and a bottle of wine are included.
  • A night at the Opera - Travel to the city of Verona and enjoy one of the performances in the open-air amphitheatre, available from 18 Jun-29 August.
