The Emporio Caffe Armani in Piazza Duomo is ideal for a light lunch or frothy cappuccino in stylish surroundings. For an authentic Milanese experience, the quirky Ristorante Bagutta is considered a historical landmark, and the meltin- your mouth spinach gnocchi with gorgonzola are popular with locals and visitors alike.
Shopping
A visit to Milan is not complete without a touch of shopping – for designer boutiques, make your way to Via Monte Napoleone and Via Della Spiga. For the more price-conscious, head to the wide shopping street, Corso Buenos Aires, where you are sure to find plenty to please. There are also many designer outlets in the vicinity of Milan that offer some serious retail therapy opportunities.
Where To Stay
The streets around the Duomo and La Scala opera house at the heart of the city are amongst the city’s most prestigious addresses, whilst the streets around the Corso Buenos Aires are ideal for those wishing to be near the shops, and yet be within easy reach of the sights.
